It seems only a short time ago that Australian Bruce, and Canadian/Australian Angie Barnard postponed their Round-the-World adventure after discovering the Arts District of downtown Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, the perfect destination to set up a Guesthouse. Back in 2004, Bruce and Angie said of their change of plans, “We left Australia for a 'world-wide travel adventure'. Instead, we have created a 'tourism venture for world-wide travelers.' Our adventures will certainly surpass the year, including relocating from Australia, starting a small business, to being year-round hosts for Vancouver Island travelers."
Only a few short years later, Bruce, Angie and their 18month old son Lachlan are now proud to call Nanaimo home!
